Terra Drone was contracted by a local engineering team to undertake the internal inspections of the entire roofing infrastructure (roof hangings) within the 20 separate buildings located on a mine site in Western Australia.
Using a combination of terrestrial cameras and remote aircraft (also known as UAV or drones), the inspection team safely inspected over 700 roof hangings or attachments which varied in height above ground from 5 metres to 35 metres. The majority of the inspection work was undertaken with the Flyability Elios Inspection UAV.
Terra Drone specialises in difficult ‘at height’ and confined space inspections utilising a combination of pole cameras, remote inspection vehicles and collision tolerant drones.
